Deleting your account

How to close a Sixo Clinic account, or remove one person from it, and exactly what happens to the data.

Last updated 4 October 2026

Sixo is operated by Kiran Markad, an individual based in Maharashtra, India (“Sixo”, “we”, “us”). Contact: kiranmarkad3@gmail.com, +91 77589 80883, Maharashtra, India.

Removing one person from a clinic

A clinic's owner can disable any staff member at any time: in the app under Staff, or in the clinic console. That person is signed out of every device at once. If you are a staff member and want your account removed, ask your clinic's owner, or write to us and we will pass the request on to them.

Closing a clinic's account

Only the clinic's owner can close the clinic's account, because the records in it belong to the clinic. To ask:

  1. Email kiranmarkad3@gmail.com from the email address the account was registered with, with the subject “Delete my Sixo Clinic account” and the clinic's name. You can also use our contact form, or open Settings → Delete account in the app.
  2. We reply within 48 hours to confirm it is you, and offer a copy of the clinic's records first. Medical rules may require you to keep records for several years, so please keep that copy.
  3. Once you confirm, we delete the account within 30 days and email you when it is done.

What is deleted

  • The clinic, every staff account, sign-ins and devices.
  • All clinical records on our servers: patients, visits, prescriptions, certificates, charges, payments recorded in the app, and admissions.
  • Support-access requests and notes about the clinic.

What is kept, and for how long

  • Payments made to Sixo — the plan, amount, date and Razorpay references — for as long as tax law requires, currently up to eight years. No clinical data is kept with them.
  • Messages you sent us, for up to two years.
  • Backups held by our database provider expire on their own schedule, within 30 days.

Records stored on the clinic's own phones are under the clinic's control. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its data, deletes them from that phone.
